This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. Putting fake eyelashes on 6 year olds?!?

We have officially entered the world of sequins, body glue, perfect hair, makeup and yes fake eyelashes....all of this better known as the world of dance! Yesterday the girls had their first performance for one of their competition pieces. They were all done up with their hair, makeup and costumes. When they are out performing, it's hard to see there cute little faces from so far away so they get all dolled up. Of course all the girls were so excited to see themselves, they were all dancing in front of the mirrors, excited about how cute they looked.

Our first performance was at the Air Force Academy's women's basketball game. I thought for sure they were going to get out there and be shy and forget what they were doing. Except for a few minor things, they did pretty well. It was great practice before competition next month for the girls and the moms! Here are a couple of pictures of the girls yesterday.

    that is some makeup for sure! i harley recognize them... except for that they are just as cute as always! is that thing next month something we can go to?
