We are so glad that you are visiting our blog. It is here that you can learn all about This Jones Family and all that we do

This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. This is how our story began, please check back frequently to see how our family continues.

Love the Holidays

Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring ting tingling too
Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling yoo hoo.
Come on it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you...

Well we haven't really had any snow falling this year. But the holidays are here and things are starting to pick up with all of the fun of the holidays.

We started our holiday season by going up to Castle Rock on Saturday night for their annual Star Lighting Ceramony. Not too sure why it's so exciting to see a star on a big rock be lit up, but the fireworks afterwards were kind of cool.

We go more to be with family and be part of the festivities to get into the holiday mood. This year, my brother Chris and his girlfriend Heather came along and afterwards we walked around and visited with my Aunt Kristen and Uncle Gil. We don't get to see them very often so it was nice.

Every year after the star lighting, some friends have a chili cookoff (we copied them and started our own). My Aunt Lori, Uncle Ron and their three kids are here for Thanksgiving and came to visit these friends so we went over there for some chili and some time to let the kids run around. They blocked off their street so the kids had a blast running around. I normally would have pictures of cousins playing together, however I was busy chatting and the kids were too fast to stop for a picture anyway.

We had a good time and
love that it is the holiday season!
