4 Corners Trip

Over 4th of July we decided we would take a little road trip to all 4 states on the 4 corners. 

We started off Wednesday night and drove to Durango where we car camped...we wouldn't recommend doing that again-it was pretty miserable!  The next day we toured the town and spent a couple of hours floating down the river.  Afterwards we settled into our hotel before going and relaxing in the park for a great fireworks show.  The next morning we drove to 4 corners so that we could officially be in all 4 states at once and then drove into Utah where we visited Gooseneck Park. From there we then drove down to the Grand Canyon since Greg had never been there before. Both amazing places!  From there we drove down into Sedona and spent Saturday touring the area in a pink jeep tour with Chris and Stefany who drove up to spend the day with us. Saturday night we drove down to Albuquerque and spent the night so that Sunday we could start making our way home. We were able to catch a few innings of my cousin Cody playing baseball down there and then we did a little shopping in Santa Fe before making it home. It was a great little weekend and we were so glad we made the last minute plans!
