This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. This is how our story began, please check back frequently to see how our family continues.

Recital

The girls had their dance recital a few weeks ago and as always it was a fun filled week. Yes you heard that right a WEEK. We start out on Sunday going and packing up all of the props and taking them to the school and setting the stage. This is followed by three nights of tech rehearsals and dress rehearsals. (Which this year was super exciting when we got stuck at the school due to floods...tornadoes..and hail).


Then it's time for the two big nights of recital.Here are some pictures of everyone getting ready

This year we had some extra guests come to visit (my friend Jenny who was home from Germany and Kaylie's school teacher)

These are the girls amazing teachers...minus one b/c she didn't want me to take her picture after a certain prop daddy made her cry...

And then it's time to party and celebrate!
