A Look Back on 2011

Looking back on 2011, we had such a great year full of laughs and memories made with friends and family. Our trips included a road trip to Las Vegas..on to LA...on to San Diego and back home and another trip to Vegas for just Greg and I.

Greg is still working for AAA Club of Northern California, Nevada, Utah and gets to work from home except for a week each month that he goes to his office in California. We competed in Warrior Dash and is now hooked on muddy 5K runs...this year is sure to hold more of them in his future.

Shannon is still working for AAA Insurance of Northern California, Nevada, Utah and was promoted to a senior adjuster this summer. She also competed in a 5K-Dirty Girl and although had a blast, really just enjoyed taking fun pictures with her friends.

Taylor turned 11 and entered into middle school. We had a rough start with learning to get into the swing of things but now he is enjoying every minute of being one of the older kids. His football team went undefeated all season and won the championship. We couldn't have been prouder of all of them! If Taylor isn't at school or playing football, he is most likely with his friends or playing video games.

Kaylie turned 9 and is in the 3rd grade. She was recently nominated at school for a peace referal award for always being helpful to the other students. She has straight A's and recently tested in the 98 percentile of all kids nationally her age in all categories. She will be taking another test after winter break to be in the talented and gifted program. She is still dancing and showed amazing bravery in a tap class at the last convention tapping in front of everyone with kids up to 12 years of age. She also auditioned and won a partial scholarship at the next dance convention. She loves anything having to do with reading and art.

Alyssa turned 9 and is in 3rd grade. She was nominated as student of the month at school where she got to eat breakfast with the principle. She and her sister auditioned for the talent show and everyone was blown away with their performance. She also has straight A's and tested in the 98 percentile to be tested again for the gifted and talented program. She also is dancing and shows great passion in it. Alyssa loves reading and anything that gives her a challenge.
