This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. Alyssa-Student of the Month

When the school year started we all sat down and asked the kids what their goals were for the school year. Alyssa's goal was to get student of the month and she must have been pretty determined b/c within 3 weeks she came home as the 3rd grade student of the month for September. She was nominated by her teacher for always helping the other students, showing that she cared about others and for helping to pick up trash on the playground without being asked. For her award she got to go to school early for a pancake breakfast made by the Principal Mr. Franko, she got to take two friends (she chose Kaylie and her best friend Ashlyn), and she got to dress down and not wear a uniform for the day. As her expression shows in this picture...we were all pretty proud of her!
