We are so glad that you are visiting our blog. It is here that you can learn all about This Jones Family and all that we do

This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. This is how our story began, please check back frequently to see how our family continues.

Writing by Alyssa

A few things that Alyssa has written:
The Imaginary Rose
Once upon a time there was a imaginary rose.  THere lived a little girl named Sarah Beth that was about four years old.  Sarah Beth always dreamed of one rose not a ordinary rose, a imaginary rose.  Sarah Beth didn't tell anyone about her dream rose. Sarah Beth grew older. She always looked for the rose but never found it.  Sarah Beth went to high school.  Every body made fun of her look except for one boy named Alex.  After school, Sarah Beth and Alex walked to Alex's house to study.  THey were walking in the grass and Sarah Beth decided to tell Alex about the rose.  One day Alex and Sarah Beth were walking to school and Sarah Beth tripped on a rock and right in front of her she saw her dream rose.  She put it in her locker for school.  After school Sarah Beth walked home and put the rose in a vase of water and kept it there for a long time.  Awhile later Sarah Beth went thru four long years of college.  Sarah Beth became a teacher.  Sarah Beth and Alex got married.  Sarah Beth wore the rose in her hair.  Sarah and Alex had three kids.

My Own Little Birds
Right outside my window is  a next full of baby birds and a mommy Robin.  THe birds hatched this morning.  Mommy bird is going in and out of the tree to get the babies food.  I look outside my windows mommy robin is on her nest keeping her little ones snug.  I open my window and hear the birds chirping with no stop.  Daddy bird is out looking for food.  Robins eggs are bright blue.  The babies ate all their food and now it is time for a little snooze.  There are two birds.  When mommy or daddy comes to feed them they put there beaks up and chirp chirp chirp.  THe birds are brown.  IT is so fun to watch them sing and play.  Have you ever seen a baby bird before?

Once upon a time there was a fairy named Shadow Fall. She had lots of friends and had lots of fun.  Her friends names were Silver Mist and Yellow Daisy and her best friends name is Golden Rose.  ONe day SHadow Fall and her friends went out to explore.  They went to the forest to look for treasure.  They walked and walked until they found something sparkling in the sunlight.  THey named it a diamond.  SHadow FAll gathered some stuff to carry the diamond.  She found sticks, a flower, and a leaf.  After they went to explore the fairy's played a game called hide fly and find.  SHadow Fall was counting.  Golden Rose hid in the golden leaves.  YEllow Daisy hid in a yellow flower.  Silver Mist stood very still in the blue lake.  Shadow Fall looked very closely near the lake she found something brown floating in the water.  IT was Silver Mist's hair.  Found you!  said Shadow Fall.  Silver MIst and Shadow Fall went off to find Yellow Daisy.  THey looked very closely around yellow things.  THey found a yellow patch of flowers.  THey looked and looked then they came to one flower. THere they found Yellow Daisy laying face down.  We found you!  they said.  Yellow Daisy's hand was stuck in extra sticky sap.  Help! She cried.  The fairy's flew out of their hiding places. Help Yellow Daisy called again.  The fairy's followed her voice. Shadow Fall sharpened her diamond on a rock.  SHe cut some vines and wrapped it around Yellow Daisy's arm.  She fluttered her wings and Shadow Fall counted to three.  One two three pull.  The fairy's pulled and pulled and finally her hand got out.  THank you said Yellow Daisy.  All of the fairy's lived happily ever after.
