My favorite thing about Christmas is all of the traditions that we have and it’s so fun to watch the kids enjoy so many of them.
Each year on Christmas Eve we go up to Greg’s dad’s house in Denver. All of the kids and grandkids are there. All of the grandkids get so excited to see each other. We were the last to arrive this year and every single little cousin was at the front door excited and hugging each of us as we walked in. It was so cute! This year was really fun to watch all of the kids play and keep each other entertained…
We have a big meal prepared mostly by Jim and Evelyn…we LOVE the soup and pork roast!
After dinner all of the kids line up by age to receive their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa.
After all of the gifts are exchanged all of the little ones gets changed into their pajama’s for a picture. The kids always like this part because this is always the first gift that they get from us and they always look forward to seeing their new pajamas.
It’s so much fun to see how many of them we can get to sit still or not scream.
Such a fun time for all of us to spend time together!
Christmas Day this year was a little different for us as we didn’t have Chris home this year..but we had his dog so at least he was here with us in some way! The kids had a pretty great Christmas full of so many gifts that they wanted including Ipods.
We really enjoyed all of the family that came over to visit. My mom, Kyle and his friend Trey, Papa and Marsha, my Grandma, Kala and Taylor, My Aunt Kristen, Uncle Gil and Cousin Cody.
