There’s something comforting about having a chance to be around your extended family. Today we said goodbye to one of my Papa’s brothers and although it was sad to watch all of the family say goodbye, it was also nice to see so many relatives come together. There were nine children in that family, more grandchildren and great grandchildren than anyone can count. It was fun to watch my mom and uncle visit with their aunts, uncles and cousins. We also made a quick visit to the grave of my great grandparents and I was reminded how lucky I was to have been able to know them and be around them before they passed away.
