Christmas is always a fun time of year at our house but goes by all too quickly. It all starts on Christmas Even where we all get dressed up and we head up to Denver.
Our first stop this year was to visit our bestest friends Ramie and Joe. From there we met up with James, Sarah, Alex and Logan to go and visit Grandma Jones at the nursing home. After a short visit there, we were off to the big “Christmas Eve Party” at Jim and Evelyn’s.
It’s always a great time to get all of the little cousins together and watch them play and open up their gifts. One by one, from youngest to oldest, they unwrapped their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa before all of the other gifts are exchanged.
All the kids waiting patiently….

After a fun evening spent with Greg’s family, we were ready for a fun day with my family. Greg and I woke up around 7:00 am to find that all of the kids were still snuggled in their beds. We pulled them all out of bed so we could all see what Santa had brought for us.
To our surprise, Santa had brought a bright new shiny netbook for the entire family to enjoy! What a great gift from Santa. The kids also got brand new bikes. Taylor got a Construction Devestator Transformer and the girls got American Girl Dolls.
After going through the stockings and waiting for the rest of the family to arrive, it was time to start opening gifts.
The best thing about Christmas is getting gifts that can keep you busy all day with something fun for the whole family. Lucky for us we got plenty of fun wii games that kept all of us going all day.
Once again it was a great Christmas spent with family!
