This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. Field Day

This week the kids had their field day at school. I loved field day when I was a kid. It was a huge event that our PE teacher put a ton of effort in. For many years after elementary school, many of us would go back and help run the events because we just couldn't not participate in Mr. Nelson's field day. Banning Lewis doesn't run things quite extravagantly but the kids still had a lot of fun. My favorite events were Taylor's class with the sponge relay where they all ended up inside the kiddie pool soaking wet and the girls doing the three legged race together. After they stopped giggling and figured out how to work together they were pretty good.
