We are so glad that you are visiting our blog. It is here that you can learn all about This Jones Family and all that we do

This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. This is how our story began, please check back frequently to see how our family continues.

Would you like to buy some Girl Scout Cookies?

Girl Scout cookies is quite the ordeal! We started out by selling cookies to all of our friends an family and then myself and another mom had to go and pick up all of the cookies for our whole troop. Did you know that they bring semi's full of cookies and count them out troop by troop, and you have to wait in line to get all of your cookies. Then we had to go home and sort them out for each girl. Then we had to sort them out for each person that bought them.....This is the first year that Daisy's get to sell Girl Scout Cookies, usually they have to wait until they are Brownie Girl Scouts. I think it was a darn good choice that they made b/c the little Daisy's can sell some cookies! People just think they are so cute. In addition to the cookies that Kaylie and Alyssa sold to our friends and family (thank you to everyone who did!!), our troop is also selling cookies at booth sales. Today we were at King Soopers and next weekend we will be at Wal Mart. It was fun to watch all of the girls come out of their shells a bit and ask people if they would like to buy some cookies. We sold quite a few, even ran out of the popular ones a few times. Greg had to go and make a cookie run to get more and then we also had to borrow some from one of the mom's own stash. Fun stuff!
