We are so glad that you are visiting our blog. It is here that you can learn all about This Jones Family and all that we do

This Jones family began in 1997 when Greg and I started as friends over a Christmas break. That friendship soon turned to a relationship and as time passed by, we kept growing together, not really knowing that we were building our future together. Three years after we started dating, we made our first commitment to create a family together and promised forever to eachother. Taylor was born in 2000 and two years later he became a big brother to twin girls Kaylie and Alyssa. We're a small little family that loves to spend all of our time together. This is how our story began, please check back frequently to see how our family continues.

Happy Halloween 2008

We love Halloween!! We usually have a ton of different events to attend so we get plenty of use out of our costumes each year. This year Taylor was a Clone Trooper, Kaylie was an Asian Princess and Alyssa was Supergirl. We started our Halloween with decorating a spooky gingerbread house.

Our first event was Boo at the Zoo. This year the girls dance studio had a table, so part of the time we all helped to pass out candy and then the other part we walked around the zoo for trick or treating. We love to hear those lions roar at about 6:00 when they're hungry and want to be fed!

Our next event this year was the annual kids Halloween Party at our office. Each year, one of our department's puts on an amazing party with games, food and haunted houses. The kids had fun winning prizes and seeing the fortune teller.

The end of our Halloween fun was trick or treating. We don't do the traditional walk around the neighborhood trick or treating. We have so many family members and friends that love to see the kids and prepare special treats just for us so we spend the entire evening driving all over town. The kids have a blast getting special things at each house and it gives us a chance to see friends we don't always get to see. It's become a great tradition. Poor Alyssa is sick this year but all in all we still had a great time!

Believe it or not, there's a whole grocery bag full of candy and treats as well

For fun, I've included some pictures from past Halloween's
